The IntelliTec Medical Institute ADA Accredited Dental Assistant training program includes a 300-hour externship, providing you the opportunity to practice your skills in a real-world setting in Colorado dental practices. Students are eligible to apply for the nationally recognized Certified Dental Assistant Examination offered by the Dental Assisting National Board Inc. (DANB). Successful Completion of the DANB Examination awards students the status of Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).

Upon passing the Registered Dental Assisting examination, you graduate with a professional Dental Assistant certificate and are eligible to immediately sit for the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and become a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). This certification is recognized nationwide. As a graduate, you are also certified by the State of Colorado in Dental Radiology and obtain a certification in CPR.
