Coursework will teach you how to expose and develop dental radiographs, take impressions, pour and trim models, conduct instrument and procedural setups, sterilize and disinfect equipment, and manage patients.

Our program includes a 300-hour externship, giving you the opportunity to practice your skills in a real-world setting. Along with the externship, dental assistant school coursework can prepare you to apply for the nationally recognized Certified Dental Assistant examination offered by the Dental Assisting National Board Inc. (DANB). Successful completion of the DANB examination awards you status as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). This certification is recognized nationwide. As a graduate, you are also certified by the state of Colorado in Dental Radiology and obtain a certification in CPR.
